Shaped At Rest
In order to maintain our strict tolerances, we make sure your drum is shaped at an "at rest state." We do this by machining all of our shells on a CNC mill instead of a lathe, where expanding and contracting jaws can distort the drum shell when retracted.
Flawless Joinery
Because most wood species will not grow large enough to offer clean and clear boards for deeper drums, we join book matched pieces with a mortise and hardwood tenon. This allows us to achieve any depth you desire while insuring your drums are built to last.
